Smoothies are a great snack, and really easy to make. Try different fruit, especially if you don’t like bananas.;)

Although I am a firm believer that when done right a smoothie is a good after school snack, I still believe in a wholesome breakfast so that people do not loose energy throughout the day.
Society has adapted and adjusted it’s norms so that people on the run can aquire power bars and so forth in exchange for a good quality breakfast and the only thing you are lacking is taste.
For an after dinner delight, try adding mango or various other tropical fruits to it….great thing about a smoothie is that it is adaptable to any changes you might want.

Smoothies are absolutely agreat breakfast too. My kids come home from school so hungry that they’re ready to eat the paint off the walls, so I tend to think of quick, easy, & satisfying, but not too much before dinner.

When I teach smoothies at birthday parties, I always ask the kids for other fruits etc to use – you wouldn’t believe how many varieties they can list. Personally, I’m ready for some watermelon slushies this summer!
